Micron Manufacturing

The Situation

Micron Manufacturing, a precision-machining company founded in 1952, was due for a website update. Micron is interesting in that their business appears to involve the repetition of incredibly precise processes, which is true, but it’s not all they do. They needed the new website to convey their values, their philosophy and their attitude to distinguish themselves from other manufacturers.

The Solution

Micron called Jason Dodge of Black Truck Media + Marketing, who acted as project manager and SEO researcher. Jason hired me to write the words based and simultaneously implement his SEO strategy.

Throughout the site, we tell the story of Micron in a way that makes them relatable and human. A lot goes into creating the finished product, and Micron works with its customers to customize solutions for each unique situation. That message permeates the website.

The Result

Their website is easier to navigate and read than the previous iteration, which immediately increases the length of time people spend on the website. I’m not privy to the actual numbers, but I have been assured the new website has generated new business for Micron.
