West Michigan Aviation Academy
The Situation
A new aviation-focused charter high school was preparing to launch in the fall, and thus needed to create awareness and ultimately get students to enroll. How can we simultaneously accomplish both in a short time frame?
The Solution
Simplicity. Flowery, creative language isn’t always the most creative approach. Like picking the favorite in a sporting event, the obvious may not be flashy, but it often gets the job done.
The headline, “A New Charter High School,” immediately creates awareness among passing motorists. The subhead tells people enrollment is open. This is simple, easy to read while driving at a high speed, and does everything it needs to do.
The Result
Enrollment numbers were excellent, and by “excellent” I mean “full.”
